Cafe Time magazine started in November 2008. It is owned and managed by graphic designer Bernie Sexton. The idea behind this unique FREE weekly publication is simple – to provide a quick read for people sitting alone in cafes, maybe waiting for their order in the takeaway, bored while waiting for a train or an appointment in the barbers, doctor, dentist, etc. Cafe Time is distributed to a network of over 120 places every week – cafes, takeaways, bars, hotels, community centres, train stations, etc. People can pick up a copy, read it and leave it or take home to ready later.

The key to the success of Cafe Time is its engaging content. It is full of positive thinking, fun and interesting articles, jokes, a weekly quiz and quirky snippets of information. There is something for everyone in Cafe Time. Many of the articles have been written by local people and include jokes, poetry, word puzzles etc. created by very talented children living locally.

Cafe Time is distributed in Fingal, North County Dublin: Area 1 edition is circulated in Balbriggan, Skerries, Rush and Lusk. Area 2 edition covers Swords, Malahide and Donabate. Both editions also contain current listings of events, classes, courses and workshops in the area, as well as local business services advertising. There is also a FREE section for clubs, organisations and community groups to promote their events, meetings, etc.

If you would like to read Cafe Time every week, but don’t live in the area, why not sign up and receive it by email every week. SIGN UP HERE
